Small Animal Clinic

We're offering a health and grooming clinic for small animals at the Ada County Extension Office on Saturday, February 8. Everyone is welcome to come and  learn more about the health of your project animal. Also, bring your grooming equipment along with your animal and learn new techniques. The clinic will be broken down into one hour sessions beginning at 9 am. The clinics are as follows: Cavy - 9 am Rabbit - 10 am Pocket Pet & Cat - 11 am Noon - lunch break on your own Pygmy goat - 1 pm Poultry - 2 pm Dog - 3 pm Be sure to bring your grooming equipment and your project animals (except pygmy goat) Animals should be in crates and carpet square (as applicable) Do not bring shavings or hay. Super Saturday!

It's time for the annual Super Saturday training for 4-H leaders and teens. Join us on Saturday, January 25 at the Meridian High School Technical Center at 8:30 am. We're offering a series of workshops on a variety of topics. There will be three sessions with four workshops offered each session. The cost is $5 per person or $10 for a family. We're offering workshops on the following topics: Club Officers Learn how to welcome new 4-H families to your club Parliamentary Procedure Healthy 4-H Club Challenge Management Strategies Working with Youth Mentoring Stress Management Small Animals Leading new projects Livestock Welfare Wound Care Horses It's not too late to sign up, but some workshops fill up really quick!
