We're always looking for new shooting sports volunteers. If you have an interest in helping youth learn about our shooting sports program which includes, safety, care for firearms, proper handling, and shooting there are trainings in this area this fall! To help with our shooting sports program 4-H volunteers must take the 4-H certified trainings in each discipline they would like to help with. Check out these trainings: Archery, November 22, Emmett. The cost of this training is $50 and the registration deadline is November 14 Rifle, January 10, Emmett. The cost of this training is $50 and the registration deadline is January 2. 4-H members make the best spokespersons for the 4-H program. the purpose of the Ambassador program is to promote 4-H to youth, parents, and the community. 4-H members who are in 9th grade or above and have been in 4-H for two or more years are eligible for this program. 4-H members with an interest in promoting our program and learning to improve their public speaking skills are encouraged to apply for this program. The registration deadline is approaching fast! Saturday, November 1 is the deadline to register. The cost for the program is $95.
