Ambassador Retreat

This Ambassador Program is designed for teens who are high school freshman or older and who have completed at least two years of 4-H club work. Ambassadors promote 4-H to others in their communities.

The retreat is Friday, November 18 to Sunday, November 20 at Camp Ida-Haven in McCall. The cost per delegate is $90.00 and applications are due by Thursday, October 17th.

Scholarships are available to attend the retreat.

The Ada County Endowment Board offers scholarships to 4-H events. They usually provide around half of the cost of the program. (this varies based on the program though) This form has to be filled out by the applicant (4-H member) and the 4-H leader. Scholarship form:  form. Return the scholarship application by Tuesday, November 8th to the Ada County Extension Office to be considered for a scholarship.

State Leader Forum

This year the State Leader Forum will be held in Boise! This means little or no travel time and no hotel fees. This is a wonderful opportunity to take advantage of the great workshops and events and save money too.

The early bird registration deadline has passed, but it's not too late to register for this event. The cost is $90.00 for adults and $80.00 for teens. Yes, teens are welcome to attend this event too!

The workshops are informative and the tours and other events are fun and interesting and this counts towards your annual training requirements as a leader.

There will also be a silent and live auction to benefit the State Leader Forum. So, please donate an item or come and bid on something. The auction will be Saturday, November 5th. The silent auction runs from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm. The live auction begins at noon.
