Looking for Something to do this Weekend?

If you want to do something fun, educational, or help with a community project this is a great weekend for you!

May 18-19 4-H Adventure Camp Clean Up Weekend. You can help prepare the camp, located in Donnelly for the summer camping season. It's too late to reserve a cabin, but it's not too late to help!

May 18  Ada County Field Day. Learn how to show large or small animals in a round robin type setting. No need to bring your animals, we'll provide them! No pre-registration required or fees, just show up at Expo Idaho (use the Livestock entrance) at 8:30 am.

May 18  Ada County Western Heritage Clinic. Bring your horse and explore the old time ranching ways. There will be packing and back country riding, skills training with roping, sorting, and penning. Come on out to 3007 Can-Ada Rd, Melba at 9 am

May 18  Silver Spurs Horse Show. You missed the pre-payment discount, but you can still pay and register on the day of the show. The classes are $9 each or $75 for the day. You must show proof of 4-H membership to attend. Go to the 3K Event Center at the north end of Bessinger Rd between Star and Middleton.

Summer Camps!

If you're planning your overnight camps for this summer check out the 4-H Adventure Camp! It's open to everyone in grades 3rd through 8th. Spend time at Cascade Lake 4-H Camp near Donnelly. You'll sleep in cabins and enjoy activities like swimming, canoeing, fishing, games, and workshops! And of course there's a campfire at night! June Kids Camp, June 22-25, grades 3rd to 5th, $190.00 Teen Camp, July 10-14, grades 6th to 8th, $230.00 All Camp, August 4-7, grades 3rd to 8th, $190.00 **Please note: All grades listed are grades completed by the end of the school year for 2017.
