Monthly 4-H Calendar

Check out 4-H events and deadlines for the month of December!

Monday, December 2: Outbound International Travel applications are due to the State 4-H Office. Teens have the opportunity to travel to another country and live with a host family for 4 weeks. Send applications to University of Idaho, 4-H and Youth Development, 975 Perimeter Dr MS 3015, Moscow, ID 83844.

Monday, December 2: National 4-H Conference applications are due to the State 4-H Office. This program is open to 4-H members between the ages of 15 and 18 (age as of January 1, 2014) the conference will be April 4 to April 10, 2014.

Friday, December 13: Applications are due to the Ada County Extension Office for the Know Your Government Conference. KYG is open to 4-H members in the 8th and 9th grades. Learn about how our government works from trials to passing laws.

Monday, December 16: Applications are due to the State 4-H Office for Citizenship, National Focus.  This event is open to 4-H members 15 and 19 and provides educational workshops and covers current issues.

Monday, December 23 - Wednesday, January 1: Extension Office closed for winter holiday.

Summer Camps!

If you're planning your overnight camps for this summer check out the 4-H Adventure Camp! It's open to everyone in grades 3rd through 8th. Spend time at Cascade Lake 4-H Camp near Donnelly. You'll sleep in cabins and enjoy activities like swimming, canoeing, fishing, games, and workshops! And of course there's a campfire at night! June Kids Camp, June 22-25, grades 3rd to 5th, $190.00 Teen Camp, July 10-14, grades 6th to 8th, $230.00 All Camp, August 4-7, grades 3rd to 8th, $190.00 **Please note: All grades listed are grades completed by the end of the school year for 2017.
