4-H Monthly Calendar

The 4-H year is just getting started! Check out these events:

November 6: Ada County Leader's Meeting, 7 pm, Ada County Extension. The public is welcome to attend the leader's meeting.

November 7-9: State Leader's Forum, Lewiston. This is a great chance to meet 4-H leaders all over the state and exchange ideas and learn new ways of leading projects. There are workshops and trips around the area.

November 8: Deadline to register for the Ambassador Conference. Register on 4-H Online.

November 9: Deadline to register for National 4-H Conference. Register on 4-H Online.

November 11: District II Horse Council Meeting, 7 pm, Canyon County Extension.

November 13: Ada County Endowment Board Meeting. If you would like to attend this meeting please call 287-5900 for location. (The Endowment Board meets monthly and provides 4-H members with scholarships to attend 4-H events.)

November 14: Deadline to register for the 4-H Archery Certification training. The cost is $50.

November 15: Recognition Night! 6 pm, Small Animal Barn (Expo Idaho). Come help us celebrate our 4-H members and leaders as we recognize their accomplishments. There will be a potluck dinner (call 287-5900 or email dhobbs@uidaho.edu  to see what you should bring) and a silent auction that will benefit our 4-H program. Everyone is invited to attend and help us celebrate!

November 15: Teen Dance! 8:30 - 10:30 pm, Small Animal Barn. Open to youth 13 and up.

November 21-23: Ambassador Conference, Camp Ida-Haven, McCall. The conference is open to 4-H members who have been in 4-H for at least two years and are freshman and up.

November 22: Archery Certification class, Emmett. 4-H leaders who would like to teach the shooting sports curriculum must become certified through 4-H.
